Interested in a meet on Thursday, September 18 which has a unique team focus where runners of all ages can participate and determine the team score?

MEET GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Elk River Cross Country Team will be hosting the ninth annual Elks Invitational on Thursday, September 18, 2008.The course is a very challenging and scenic course traversing many ridges while running in the midst of an oak forest. Most of the course, except the start and finish, will be on trails with a minimum width of 12 feet. Our start and finish area will be on a large driving range adjacent to Woodland Trails City Park.

MEET FORMAT:
The race will have a grade level format so runners will have an opportunity to run against individuals of similar age. The top three finishers for each team in each grade level race will determine the team score.

**Teams wanted for a meet Monday, October 20th at Battle Creek Park.  Races will consist of 6th-8th, 9th-10th, 11th-12th.  It will be a meet held that is similar to the Lefty Wright Grade Level Championships.  Contact Daniel Scheff (Math and Science Academy) at: cscountry3@hotmail.com
