Welcome to yet
another Fall season. Soon, across our entire state, The Boys of
Autumn will spill onto fields of green to compete in our great
game. A game we are privileged to teach and lead. Let us all
remember to teach the game within the game; that sportsmanship
begins with us, and that the Friday night lights are simply an
illumination of all the good that participation and competiton
can bring.Let us all proudly accept the responsibility of being
"The Keepers Of The Game"

2009 MFCA Coaches Awards
Announced |
Rosemount's Vraa is Mr. Football
Rosemount wide receiver
Zach Vraa was named Minnesota's Mr. Football this afternoon at the
conclusion of a first-class banquet held at the Doubletree Hotel in
St. Louis Park. Vraa was among 10 seniors who were finalists for the
award given by the Minnesota High School Football Coaches
Association. Vraa is the sixth winner of the award and the third
from the Lake Conference.

Hall of Fame at TCF Stadium
The MFCA is proud to
announce that our MFCA Hall of Fame is now on display at the new
Gopher TCF Stadium. While the HOF continues to be displayed at
the Doubletree as well, we have established a similar plaque at
the Stadium for all to see and enjoy. It is located on the
exterior wall near the Coaches' pass gate under the Cass County
column.
In honor of our MFCA, 'The Keepers Of The Game', the coaches
and contributors of yesterday, today, and tomorrow shall ever
be enshrined.
