Mike Kesler, Rochester Lourdes, won his 100th career game this past Friday night (September 25) with a 52-42 win over La Crescent in a Southeast District- Red Sub-District game played at the Rochester Regional Sports Stadium. His overall career record is now 100-25 in 11 seasons.

In the coming days, a million or more teenage boys will eagerly show up at their high school campuses weeks before regular classes start. They will plan to spend their whole day at school, pay close attention to their instructors, and work as hard as they can.

They will spend time in the classroom and time in the field, and they will all be focused on a single, venerable all-American goal: becoming part of a winning football team.

Robbie Grimsley, a running back and free safety from Hutchinson High School (Wright County Conference, Class 4A) was named Mr. Football for 2014 by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA). The award was presented at the Mr. Football Banquet on Sunday November 30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place Hotel in St. Louis Park. (Full Press Release)


Robbie Grimsley is the eleventh player to receive the Mr. Football Award and the first from the Wright County Conference. His head coach at Hutchinson High School was Andy Rostberg.

Minnesota Football Coaches Association Takes Steps to Help Families, Coaches, Counselors with Recruiting

The Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA) is proud to provide a new nonprofit service designed to assist families in being properly educated about the athletic collegiate recruiting process.

The Recruiting Education Foundation Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit venture, is now providing the MFCA with recruiting webinars for high school student-athletes and their families in the state of Minnesota. The webinar is available at no cost.

Minnesota Army National Guard Contact
