SPRING MEETING

Our Spring meeting will take place on Saturday April 26, 2014 at the Mora Vasaloppet Center. The meeting will start at 9:30 and will conclude with lunch at noon. Items that we will be discussing include the current State Meet Proposal the MSHSL Board of Directors will be acting upon at their June meeting. A recap of the State Meet and the “new” State Meet Banquet. We will have a discussion about the current state of skiing in the state after my alma mater Gustavus decided to cut its Nordic Skiing program when they decided skiing did not fit into its long term goals priorities. We will be moving towards a change in association leadership. This will be my last meeting as president of the association. We will be voting to elect Brian Abery as our next association president. We will also need to fill in the President-Elect spot. Finally we are looking for a couple of volunteers to take over the Victor C Dunder program. Mike Miller and Chris Torvi have done a fantastic job with running this for many years and now would like to pass along this opportunity to others. If you are interested in helping out our association please let me know.

Please RSVP to dan.josephson@yahoo.com  so I know how many we can expect for lunch.
