Tom Van Erp

Wadena-Deer Creek
Van Erp is a 1984 graduate of New York Mills High School.
After high school, he attended Fergus Falls Community
College followed by attendance and graduation from the
University of MN-Morris with a degree in Health, Phy Ed
and Coaching. In 200 he obtained hisM.Ed from
the University of MN - Minneapolis. He later earned his K-12
Administrative License from St Mary's - Minneapolis.
South St Paul was Van Erp's first
teaching-coaching assignment from 1992-96. He taught Phy Ed
and Health and coached as a varsity assistant in football
and boys basketball and boys track.
He took the call in 1996 to join the staff at Wadena-Deer
Creek. He continues to teach Phy Ed
and Health while holding the head coaching post in football
and boys basketball.
He has distributed is leadership talent to the MSHSCA where
he serves as a Delegate and a member of the Finance
Committee from 2002 to present.
Tom chairs the Health and Phy Ed
Department at Wadena-Deer Creek and provides leadership for
the Youth Football and Basketball Clubs.
He and his wife, Janelle have five children - four boys and
a girl. |
Jeffrey Wall

Academy
Jeffrey earned hs BS
and MA at Minnesota State University at Mankato.
Wall has thirty years of teaching an coaching experience
with assignments at New Ulm Cathedral, Winsted Holy Trinity,
Minneapolis Patrick Henry and Maranatha Christian
Academy Since starting his career, he has coached at all
levels including five years as Head Men's Basketball Coach
at NCAA Division III Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
During his career he has coached basketball, baseball and
football. His most notable is basketball where he has been
selected Section 4A Coach of
the Year and 2001 Class A State Coach of the Year.
Jeff's important coaching priorities is providing athletes
with competitive challenges while fostering self
improvement.
He has been a Region 4A delegate
since 2002.
He currently serves as Athletic Director and Head Boys
Basketball Coach at Maranatha.
Wall looks forward to an opportunity to lead the MSHSCA.
He has high respect for many coaches and officials that make
high school athletics a success!
