The MSHSCA Hall of Fame Banquet is scheduled for October. 8, 2022 from 4:30pm-9:30pm at the Sheraton Mpls West-Ridgedale.  

The banquet is a special night where coaches and officials across the state can recognize those who have given many years of their time, have been successful in bringing home State Titles to their schools, increased recognition of their sport, and been an active member of the MSHSCA throughout the years. We are grateful for these individuals. 

At our banquets each year, HOF individuals are inducted, along with a George Haun Award, Steve Kerzie Award, awards for DSA-Officials and DSA-Asst. Coaches. 25 Year Members are recognized along with Championship Coaches, Coaches of the Year and Assistant Coaches of the Year.  We look forward to a full capacity crowd again this year.

The 2022 HOF individuals and special award winners to be honored this year include: HOF Inductee: Skip Dolan Annandale Public School, Les Zellmann St. James, Don Krusemark Mankato West, Shelly Eklund Eagen High School and Bill Gottenborg Hawley. Receiving the George Haun Award is Carl Pierson Waconia High School. The Steve Kerzie award goes to Thomas Sharp of Eastview. DSA-Officials being honored this year include: Thomas Bracher of Chaska, Dan Dornfeld of Lakeville, Ron Ackerman of Fridley and Ann Suits of Robbinsdale.  DSA-Assistant Coach awards will go to: Beulah Verdell Minneapolis North, Kirk Goldberg of Lakeville South and Rob Piersak Mounds View. It is a great night where we all get to come together to support and recognize a dedicated, hardworking group of individuals. 

Please mark October. 8th on your calendar and come support your fellow coaches. Bio information on those to be inducted into HOF, receiving the Haun and Kerzie awards are listed in this publication. The banquet is open to all coaches, family members, friends, and past athletes.
