MAIL IN CLINIC REGISTRATION

The 2025 Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Fall Clinic will be held on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th at the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency Hotel.  Sessions will include large group and on the court presentations.

The MBCA Fall Clinic is open to Coaches at all levels – Youth, High School, Community College, and College.  One does not have to be a member to attend.  The MBCA also extends a welcome to Coaches from our neighboring states and beyond.

As of 9-07-2025 the clinic will feature the following speakers plus event:

  • Paul Sather – University of North Dakota (tentative)
  • Quincy Henderson – St. Cloud State University
  • John Tauer – St. Thomas University
  • Mike Maker – St. Thomas University  
  • Pat McKenzie – St. John’s University
  • Jerry Kline Jr. – Cretin - Derham Hall HS
  • Cory Schlagel – Albany  High School
  • Scott Kramer – Nevis High School
  • Minnesota Gophers vs North Dakota Fighting Hawks – Williams Arena

The annual Awards Luncheon will include the presentation of coaching awards, including: 2024-25 Section Coaches of the Year, 2024-25 Assistant Coaches of the Year, 2024-25 State Coaches of the Year, coaching milestone awards, and achievement awards. 2025 MBCA Hall of Fame inductees (Shawn Naas, Rich Newman, Robert “Bob” Schueller, Mike Roysland, and Luke Winans) and 2025 Hall of Honor recipients will be introduced and recognized.

Friday’s luncheon and the Friday evening Coaches social will be complimentary for all clinic registrants.

Exhibitors will display their wares and provide door prizes for clinic participants during the sessions.  Opportunities to visit the exhibitors will be scheduled and are highly encouraged.  The clinic will also include a complimentary gift and distribution of Spalding, Exhibitor, and MBCA door prizes to those in attendance. 

The cost of the Fall Clinic is $140 for the first 3 Coaches and $120 for each additional Coach beyond three if registered prior to October 14th.  Cost after October 14th and at the door will be $145.
