Coaches must be a member of the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association for players to qualify for Academic All State.
Certificates will be emailed as a PDF for the coach to print.
Individual Academic All State - Any SENIOR with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) that participates in the first round of the sectional tournament will receive Academic All-State honors for the 2023 season.
The Team Award is given to the team with the highest GPA in every section of every class (based on the average of the top 4 player GPA's). Teams need 4 or more players (grades 9-12) to qualify as a team. Each team member must participate in the first round of the sectional tournament.
The GPA is figured on a 4.0 maximum. Do not add Honor Points. All honors weighting, IB, AP, Pre-AP, CIS, etc., should be removed so that the GPA reflects only the raw grades on a 4.0 scale.
